Hampshire | Field Farm Barn

Away from your shadow over me.
Edward Thomas

Over the last three years for one of his projects Mark has been weaving together the poetry of Edward Thomas and the Landscape of the South Downs, this developed during the residency at Winchester college in 2016. He has continued to make further links with the area and is now able to offer workshops for a wider audience based at the beautifully restored Field Farm barn, located a stones throw from the white horse inn also known as the pub with no name.

The three days will be based in the South Downs national park with an experimental approach to developing work. A range of materials will be introduced with techniques that can inform everyone's practice. The days will begin and end with an honest, constructive look at the work produced with the intention of opening ways to develop further.
