HOLY ISLAND
Holy Island of Lindisfarne.
Back in Cornwall after what might become one of the most important trips so far.
A Final Pilgrim
The project is now following the usual pattern of dictating to me which direction it should go.
From the place where this project was conceived to its actual beginning, I think it would be safe to say there have been huge developments.
The project was intended to explore the idea of pilgrimage and self understanding - through the works of St john of the cross and the bee hive structures know as clochans. This has shifted and continues to develop - key experiences and sounds and voices are leading the way.
Everyone carries a room around inside them.
I think this came from a Max Richter piece - not quite sure will let you know. But again it threw the project into another direction.
I guess what i am trying to say is this is a work in progress - it's exciting, exhilarating and moving in ways I would never have thought possible. Who knows where this is going to go.

Tearing the day open over the causeway
