Truro Three Arts
Last night was the exhibition in Truro for Truro Three Arts, organized by Mike and Hayley Jay of The Great Atlantic Galleries.
The selected artists work was from my point of view incredible, all of who attended the evening. Michael Strang, Steve Slimm, Catherine Harvey Jefferson, Eric Pentecost and Catherine Grubb.
A number of paintings and drawings from my show at the Falmouth Gallery were taken to the event and will be back in the Gallery this morning. This clearly shows how much work Mike and Hayley do, thank you to them both.
Returning to the event that I attended last year with my first collection of work was a very positive experience. I had what is a rare chance to meet a number of people who had bought paintings from the show the previous year. They had clearly enjoyed the work and it was wonderful to hear.
Painting can and is a very solitary experience. Attending evenings like this and openings where people can express views about the work are invaluable.
I'll invite the poets continues at The Great Atlantic Gallery Falmouth until the 15th of October.
