From the studio

The new addition to the website will aim to give you an insight into what is happening behind the scenes. That is the heartfelt aim, no promises and keep your expectations low as the priority always remains to the creation of the work. Finding the balance between creating the work and engaging in other ways has always been a difficult balancing act for me, but I am thankful for your interest and support. The intention is to update this page often so please do keep returning. If you have any questions please get in touch, it might take time for me to reply but I always do, eventually.

Mark.

NEWS
8th August 2019

As I prepare to head out into the landscape for a few days, locations and direction remain closely guarded as I tend seedlings of ideas. Projects have continued to progress in the Hampshire Studio and reach conclusions, I will be previewing a selection here over time.

After ten years of creating in the space at Trewidden Studio 15 I will be handing over the keys at the end of October. I will be having an Open Studio event the weekend of 14th & 15th September and a final Cornwall workshop based in the studio in October. I will decide very soon if workshops will continue in Cornwall next year, dates for Dartmoor and Hampshire 2020 are already available - new locations are also being considered which is very exciting. The time has come for the next chapter with more adventures. I have spent most of my time away from Trewidden over the last few years with four different studio spaces being set up in West Sussex and Hampshire and continue to create on the South Downs with a sky full of Red Kites overhead. Hope to see you at the last open studio at Trewidden studio 15.
