Intrigued by the Creative Process, it comes as no surprise that I find myself immersed in developing my own creative practice. I have always found great comfort in the landscape, but over the last four years have become more in tune with the ever-changing weather-beaten moorland and cliff top which pervade west Penwith, over which I have spent many hours in all conditions exploring with my untiring companion - Rupert. (my Dalmatian).

It is through our exploration and adventure that I have developed a deeper understanding of this environment, in which I find myself peaceful, calm and centred, despite the often hostile conditions-It is this energy and conflict which has filtered directly into my work, inspiring me to sculpt on canvas.
